We were blessed with a beautiful day of sunshine for the first edition of our new event series Salon Jardin at our Tayourt Surf Lodge, where we shared a healthy Sunday Brunch and came together to celebrate Olo surf culture, art and music.

Moroccan mixes and Berber beats played out to the backdrop of rolling waves at the Magic Bay, with Zaman Records on the decks. The Marrakech based record shop came down to share their passion for old school tunes with us, spinning vintage vinyls and toe-tapping tapes to keep everyone grooving and moving throughout the afternoon.

The Art Market was in full swing, with local and international artists bringing each of their unique creative visions together to create one big beautiful display of inspiring artwork. Here are the talented creators who spent the day with us sharing their passion and inspiring minds...

Rachid Fahmi of Swell Mood Art captures the salty spirit of our home Imsouane with his surf-inspired paintings on wooden block canvases and black and colour ink pieces, filled with endless waves and the mystic creatures of the Bay.

Ceri Bathgate of Tropicool Studio spends her time floating between cold seas and palm trees, and for the past couple of months she has found her home and artistic inspiration in Imsouane. This salty slider spread her love, stoke and feel-good vibes with us through her groovy lines and cruisey prints.

Ambre Victoire, a talented longboarder and our resident yoga teacher, channels her emotions with minimalist simplicity through her flowing line drawings. Delicate desires, forms of feeling and abstract faces are all entangled in an endless embrace.

Rachid of Africa Spirit, Taghazout, shared his collection of hand-crafted silver sea treasures and surf-inspired wooden epoxy crafts with us. Each of his creations have a little piece of Morocco in them, making them the perfect souvenir to remind you of this magical land.

Elena Grib of Oh Ocean plays with colour and a soft touch to create unique linocut prints and other small scale handmade crafts, inspired by inner calmness and ocean living. She gives a little piece of herself to each print through the lino printing process, and her simple and clean shapes create a sense of harmony.

Jimena Gayol of Kbrarte colours her emotions, playing with the contrast of colours and black lines to create evocative pieces with emotional depth. Without thinking, she puts on some music and plugs into inspiration, letting her feelings flow freely from her posca pen.

Heather of Sparkly Spangles designs one off jewellery pieces, handmade from start to finish with extra love and care. She uses quality materials crafted around gemstones, crystals, sea-glass and shells.

Boheme of Morocco brought their berber inspired decorations all the way from Essaouira. They sell ethnique home selections, handmade crafts and macramés inspired by the Moroccan scenery.

Olo Family member and legend, Oli Rauch shared his passion and knowledge about Bonzer Surfboards, hand-shaped by Malcolm Campbell.

Thank you for all the salty souls who visited us on that sunny Sunday afternoon.
Sea you on the next one...
